Responsibilities
• Perform check, start-up, test on commercial size air handling units.
• Experience troubleshooting any electrical, mechanical, and software failures related to AHUs, VAVs, Heat Pumps, Chillers, VFDs, FCUs, FPBs and VRV/VRF systems.
• Commissioning of AHUs, VAVs, Heat Pumps, Chillers, VFDs, FCUs, FPBs and VRV/VRF systems.
• Retrofitted existing control panels based on BMS submittal specifications.
• Serves as a front-line resource to service technicians through technical support.
• Coordinates the work of subcontractors, and trains and provides guidance to technicians.
• Safely drives a motor vehicle and trailer, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all company safety requirements.
Requirements
• 1+ years of BAS/Controls experience
• One or more controls platforms
• Must have ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and device data sheets.
• Must have ability to use testing and metering devices.
• Familiar with Windows operating systems and software.
• Demonstrates strong business ethics at all times.
• Must have a current and valid drivers license.
