Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within the Marine Industry, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is remote. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Marine & Ports division. You will be mainly accountable for: Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned divisions. Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promotes their understanding of ABB's complete product/systems/ services offering, and aligns with them to provide a solution. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process. Preparing sales plans using ABB authorized tools.
Qualifications For The Role
• A bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 5, with 10 or more preferred, years of experience in customer facing and/or business development roles.
• Recent marine industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
