Candidate Profile
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or one to three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge and understanding of ISO procedures, Safety rules and procedures
• Fork Lift certified
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to lookup inventory levels, to process MRP and to reorder inventory through the SAP computer software.
Activities
As part of your missions, you are in charge of:
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or by folk lift.
• Loads / unloads materials into vehicles and overseas containers.
• Installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, or other containers.
• Mark, label and handle hazardous materials.
• Receives raw material.
• Clean work area, machines and equipment.
• Operates forklift to assist in moving materials and products.
