• *Job Summary:**
The Janitorial, Housekeeping, and Grounds Keeper will be responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the student housing interior and exterior spaces. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that all areas are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained.
• *Key Responsibilities:**
- **Housekeeping:**
- Clean and sanitize student apartments, common areas, bathrooms, and lounges.
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust furniture.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
- **Janitorial:**
- Clean and maintain public areas including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Empty trash bins and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Perform routine deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
- **Grounds Keeping:**
- Maintain the exterior grounds, including landscaping, lawns, and walkways.
- Water plants, mow lawns, and trim shrubs and trees.
- Remove debris and ensure the outdoor areas are clean and presentable.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
• *Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or grounds keeping preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and stamina; able to lift and move heavy objects as required.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
