KEY ACCOUNTS MANAGER - AUTOMATIC DOORS
Company Overview
Our CONFIDENTIAL client is seeking candidates for a remote Key Accounts Manager to be located in the Central Time Zone, USA. This position will report to the Vice President of Key Accounts.
The desired candidate will have experience and a demonstrated history of selling in the construction or facility services industries..
Role & Responsibilities
• Postured to execute and promote all sales calls, architectural and design calls.
• Estimate, follow-up proposals, contract negotiations and quoting activity in a timely and accurate manner using the support of the project managers.
• Promote service PM programs with current and prospect customers.
• Understand Dodge utilization and incorporate into normal routine.
• Assist and direct the ordering of material for sold jobs.
• Submit forecast and reports in a timely legible manner.
• Call on service providers and distributors that support our key account business.
• Canvass your designated market via in-person visits, e-mail, and telephone and any/all targeted users locally.
• Possess complete understanding of Factory product knowledge. Solicit the engineering group to comprehend nuances of the latest products.
• Site visits, dimensions, coordinate trades and attend job meetings as required.
• Possess an understanding of door hardware and electric door hardware.
• Knowledge of competitions pricing, strengths and weaknesses.
• Understand the install process and work in the field with the Installation Technician.
• Understand the Service Group and work in the field with a Service Technician.
• Attend and participate in trade shows and related activities.
• Understand how to read plans, specs and survey buildings.
• Thorough understanding of Industry Terminology; Doors Terminology, construction Terms and Product Terminology.
• Properly and effectively communicate project details to District operations.
• Participate in any/all National Sales or Regional Sales Conferences/updates.
• Possess a clear understanding of your sales segments (vertical markets).
• Entertain key customers within corporate guidelines and expenditures.
• Join and maintain professional associations to enhance selling.
Experience And Qualifications
• High school diploma required; BA or BS preferred.
• Two - five years working as a Sales Representative in the automatic door industry or related field.
• Experience working with 3rd Party Service Providers, Facility Maintenance and Management Companies
Compensation & Location
This position will be Remote/Home Office based anywhere in the Central Time Zone, USA. This is a full-time position that is available for immediate hire. A meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that will include a base salary, performance bonus, monthly auto allowance, and comprehensive benefits.
