We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Content Analyst Level II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience in managing websites, website editing, website research, content curation, and Section 508 remediation. The Web Content Analyst Level II will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our web presence across various platforms while ensuring accessibility compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Website Management:
• Oversee the day-to-day management and maintenance of websites.
• Ensure websites are up-to-date, secure, and functioning optimally.
• Collaborate with IT and design teams to implement new features and improvements.
• Website Editing:
• Edit and update website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with organizational standards.
• Proofread and format content to enhance readability and user experience.
• Website Research:
• Conduct research to gather information and best practices for website improvements.
• Analyze web analytics to monitor site performance and user engagement.
• Identify trends and opportunities for content optimization.
• Content Curation:
• Curate and organize content for various web, mobile, and other digital platforms.
• Ensure content is engaging, informative, and tailored to target audiences.
• Coordinate with content creators and stakeholders to source high-quality materials.
• Section 508 Remediation:
• Ensure all web content complies with Section 508 accessibility standards.
• Conduct regular audits to identify and remediate accessibility issues.
• Work with developers and designers to implement accessibility best practices.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Communications, Journalism, Information Technology, or Web Design.
• Experience:
• At least three years of experience in:
• Managing websites
• Website editing and proofreading
• Conducting website research and analytics
• Curating content for web and mobile platforms
• Section 508 remediation and accessibility compliance
• Skills:
• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and web design principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
• Knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
