Job Brief:
The Brand Advocacy team amplifies the brand through employee advocacy and evangelism, social media, talent brand, and storytelling network. This contract role reports to the Senior Social Media Manager in North America.
Responsibilities:
• Craft content that helps build the brand with social-first thinking and share-worthy executions - high-quality, visually appealing graphics, images and videos for use across various social channels.
• Lead the creative process through a hands-on and collaborative approach
• Brainstorm concepts, pitch ideas & design social content to bring ideas to life
• Stay current on social trends, best practices, and look for opportunities to incorporate them into social-first creative
• Ongoing development of new ideas, creative concepts, designs and art treatments
• Create videos, reels, YT Shorts with the complete understanding of the types of video formats that work best across various social networks
• Ensure all creative adheres to existing brand guidelines and social best practices
• Collaborate across internal teams to ensure goal alignment and campaign optimization.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of art direction or graphic design experience in an agency or in-house (advertising, digital, social media, publishing/content)
• Experience designing social-first graphics, shooting and editing videos
• Self-starter, with a record of working collaboratively, quickly and with minimal oversight
• An understanding of what works - and doesn't - in social media
• Innate curiosity and 'in the culture' mentality
• The ability to work under pressure and hit deadlines
• Proven experience in graphic design and social media content creation (share previous work and anything that conveys the way you think or approach assignments)
• Affinity for the construction and technology industries
• Tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Adobe Premiere Pro and others
• Bonus skill: Motion graphics, animation
