With less than two months until the election, we are urgently seeking a talented Video Editor who can help us amplify our message and reach billions of viewers.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to produce high-quality video shorts (45-120 seconds) that effectively convey our campaign’s message and engage our target audience. Your work will directly contribute to the campaign’s goal of achieving massive visibility across multiple social media platforms, including YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. No copyright infringement on posting platforms is essential.
Responsibilities:
• Edit video shorts that convey our campaign's message in a compelling, audience-driven way.
• Ensure videos are optimized for social media platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Complete edits with clear communication on deadlines and requirements.
• Collaborate with the campaign team to ensure videos are consistent with our overall message.
• Familiarize yourself with at least 5-10 of our existing campaign videos to understand our style and direction.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio.
• Expertise in creating short-form video content for social media platforms.
• Familiarity with the latest social media trends and platform-specific video requirements.
• Ability to produce high-quality videos quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail, especially with regard to deadlines and avoiding errors in final drafts.
Additional Details:
• Compensation is a flat rate of $200 per video short.

• The initial contract will cover 1-2 video shorts to evaluate fit and performance. Based on the results, we may extend the contract for more consistent work leading up to the election.
• There will be at least one interview (20-30 minutes) with the campaign team to discuss experience and vision for the role.
