The Senior/Lead Java Engineer should be innovative, knowledgeable, and able to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using Java 17 and related technologies
• Design and implement scalable backend frameworks, primarily using Spring Boot
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to enhance application capabilities
• Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure code reliability and functionality
• Employ a test-driven development (TDD) approach using appropriate testing tools to validate software
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge through code reviews, design discussions, and guidance
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years of Java Developer experience
• 2+ years as a Lead Java Engineer
• Proficiency in Git for version control
• Extensive experience with Linux environments
• Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery
• Expertise in using RDBMS Tools and NoSQL databases to manage data efficiently
• Experience in developing backend frameworks using Spring Boot
• Proven ability to implement REST APIs
• Solid experience in writing and implementing unit tests
• Familiarity with a test-driven development (TDD) approach and associated testing tools
• Excellent communication skills, analytic capabilities, self-motivation, and attention to detail
