Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Desktop Support Technician with college experience to join our IT team. The successful candidate will provide technical support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of desktop environments and related technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their IT career to gain hands-on experience and grow within a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first-level technical support for desktop hardware and software issues.
• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop systems, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Respond to and support requests in a timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain software applications.
• Assist with user account creation, password resets, and access management.
• Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to identify and implement process improvements.
• Provide training and support to end-users on various software and hardware.

Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications.
• Understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior internship or relevant experience in IT support is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Exchange.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with remote desktop tools and support software.
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) are a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and experience with Exchange and Office 365 administration.
