Job Summary
Diligent Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced C++ Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to all software development efforts, spanning C++ and Python code libraries. This role requires providing technical direction and feedback to developers, designing software solutions in line with best practices, and managing the full development lifecycle. Additionally, the candidate will play a key role in industry technical support, integration and testing efforts, and future-state architecture design discussions.
Qualifications
• At least 2 to 3 years’ experience.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Experience in software development, integration, and lifecycle management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Experience in working with Open Architecture and cloud/containerization strategies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Contribute to all software development efforts spanning C++ and Python code libraries (provide technical direction and feedback to developers, design software solutions in line with pen Architecture best practices, manage the full development lifecycle)
• Contribute to industry technical support efforts, communicating with external users to troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions in their software implementations
• Participate in industry design discussions that will inform the future requirements of the software
• Participate in the software integration and testing efforts for software deployed to on-site pen Architecture devices
• Participate in future-state architecture design discussions surrounding Open Architecture software functionality, hardware dependencies, and cloud/containerization strategies
• Coordinate with Homeland Security IT personnel to manage technology dependencies (e.g., environment provisioning, software approvals, architecture reviews, etc.)
