Experience Required
• Senior ETL testers with at least 7 years of ETL testing experience, preferably in a data warehouse environment.
• Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries, joins, and subqueries.
• Good experience in ETL testing techniques such as data transformation validation, data profiling, data comparison, and data quality checks.
• Experience in ETL test automation and continuous testing using CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to read stored procedures and understand the logic.
• Proficient in using ETL testing tools, such as Azure SSIS, Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data quality concepts and best practices.
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools, such as Azure DevOPS.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Requirements review and analysis.
• Test case design, based on the requirement acceptance criteria.
• Manage and report defects followed in Azure DevOps.
• Daily work management using Azure Devops (e.g. Tasks, traceability, test plan).
• Cross validation of source to target data tables.
• Cross validation of data among different data sources.
• Integration and E2E testing among different upstream projects.
• Understand the ins and outs of our project and identify gaps in test coverage.
Generic Managerial Skills
Effective communication and Presentation skills for mediating between developers, clients, and management.
