Our client in the Tax automation services industry is urgently hiring multiple Mid-Sr. level Full-stack Java engineer with strong API/Services, React/TypeScript and MySQL.
This position is a long-term CTH position and MUST be able/willing to go onsite 2 days a week in San Diego office.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with product and development teams to create an amazing user experience. Designs and develops software applications. Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. Build integration and unit tests along with code. Work in agile development environment with short sprints and standups. Implement proof of concept, prototypes and production-grade software. Maintain and support existing software and hardware systems, infrastructure and production. Assist team members in trouble-shooting software issues and implementing bug fixes. Takes ownership of the code base. Work to continually improve code quality, and get bugs fixed and deployed rapidly
Must Have Skills:
- 5+ years of experience
- Strong experience with Backend Java,
- Full stack development using JavaScript, Ty[prescript / React
- At least 4+ years' experience with web services (consuming or creating) with REST or SOAP.
- Experience with API development and integration with 3rd-party services.
- Good understanding and experience building applications using Object Oriented and JEE design patterns
- Hands-On experience developing applications/services using Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
- Strong understanding of system capacity, system performance, and system security.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline, automated unit and regression testing and performance testing.
- Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process.
- Experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong experience with Object Orientated design and programming.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with the development challenges inherent with highly scalable and highly available web applications and backend systems.
