Position Overview:
We are seeking a Receptionist/Legal Assistant to join our team. This dual role requires a highly
organized individual who can efficiently manage front office operations while supporting our legal
staff. As the first point of contact, you will represent St. Louis Estate Planning with warmth and
professionalism, ensuring a positive experience for clients.
Responsibilities include phone call management, appointment scheduling, mailing, office supply
management, and administrative tasks. A positive attitude, detail oriented and strong
organizational skills are essential for success in this position. We provide necessary training.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• High school diploma or GED; formal qualification in office administration, secretarial work, or
related training is preferred.
• Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, word processing and excel spreadsheets
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with office equipment, including printers, copiers, and scanners.
• Desire to help others and make a difference in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcoming Clients and Visitors: Greet clients and visitors professionally upon arrival at the
reception area and ask clients if they would like something to drink.
• Assisting Clients: Help clients to have the best interaction with St. Louis Estate
Planning.
• Phone Call Management: Answer, screen, and forward phone calls courteously and
effectively.
• Appointment Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments. Manage calendar accuracy making sure
to keep attorney in meetings, on time.
• Etiquette and Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to business
etiquette.
• Mail and Deliveries: Direct incoming mail, faxes, and deliveries to the intended
recipients.
• Office Supplies: Order and restock office supplies as needed. Make sure the office does not run
out of any supplies by managing the inventory.
• Administrative Tasks: Assist with copying, scanning, faxing, printing, and emailing.
• Meeting Facilities: Prepare meeting rooms and keep them stocked with supplies.
• Legal Assistance: Provide administrative support to attorneys/paralegals, including document
printing, scanning, preparation and filing. Assist with typing and correspondence. Maintain and
organize client files, both electronic and physical.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00/hour with bonus opportunities, paid Holidays, accrued paid time off and health
insurance
Expected hours: 30 per week (more or less). This position can be flexible with your family and pet
responsibilities.
Schedule:
• Day shift – 9am - 3pm or 9:30 - 3:30 this can be flexible
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
