Summary:
Reporting to the Recruiting Manager, a Driver Recruiter with G&D Integrated will coordinate and execute the full life-cycle of the driver hiring process; sourcing, selection, DOT compliance, initial on-boarding, and administration of all related documentation - for all Driver openings in the company. Driver types include company drivers for jockey, local, regional, and OTR positions.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of success staffing Driver positions for a transportation services company. This candidate will be able to meet challenges and satisfy customers with confidence and resourcefulness and will be extremely motivated to succeed. High energy and a sense of urgency and drive are crucial for success in this role. A strong focus on quality and safety is required, as well as a thirst for knowledge and the desire to continue professional learning and development.
Primary Job Duties:
• Utilize networking and creative methods to source candidates for open Driver positions within the Midwest and Southeast
• Process applications for drivers, administer full life-cycle of reporting, verification and DOT / Safety compliance recordkeeping
• Assist with job ad placement; find, and attend job fairs; coordinate communication to assist hiring managers and employees; network when and where appropriate for candidate referrals
• Answer phone lines and direct callers to appropriate resource regarding employment news and information
• Review and qualify driver candidates based on application, verify track record / experience, conduct interviews and comply with DOT and FMCSA verification and reporting regulations (Criminal History, CDLIS, MVR, PSP, Employment Verification, DOT Physical, Drug Screen & Road Test)
• Coordinate with hiring manager to arrange a seamless process for the candidate regarding pre-screen process, interviews and updates.
• Manage all assigned job postings within the Applicant Tracking System daily. Ensure validity of data at frequent intervals.
• Coordinate travel needs of new hires for orientation. Update candidate profiles and information packets, coordinate prescreen information relays as well as first day events with all relevant parties.
• Ensure administration and verification of all DOT / Safety Compliance Paperwork
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• 1+ year of relevant HR/Recruiting experience
• A Bachelor's Degree from a four year, accredited university is preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of four-year degree.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSR compliance, staffing laws and employment regulations on a local, state and federal level preferred
• Possess the ability to work independently, yet be able to frequently collaborate with peers on projects
• Demonstrated success providing stellar customer service to internal and external customers
• Ability to work in a constantly changing environment as well as handle pressure of multiple deadlines with competing priorities
• Being a team player with a positive attitude and good sense of humor are helpful
• Detail oriented with strong desire to complete work accurately, efficiently and timely.
• Advanced computer skills in Excel, Word, and applicant tracking systems preferred

Pay Range: $55,000 - $65,000
