What You'll Do
• Optimize Algorithms: Refactor and enhance optimization algorithms written in Python using Object-Oriented Programming.
• Advanced Analytics: Apply cutting-edge data science techniques to solve critical business challenges in supply chain and retail environments.
• Predictive Modeling: Develop and implement models and algorithms to improve inventory management, reduce stockouts, and optimize resource allocation.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets with advanced statistical methods to derive actionable insights and improve replenishment strategies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to understand their needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Experimentation: Design and execute experiments to test and refine replenishment strategies and allocation policies.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain and replenishment, offering recommendations for ongoing improvements.
• Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous innovation and improvement in data science and supply chain management.
• Team Engagement: Collaborate with and mentor a growing team of skilled Data Scientists.

What We're Looking For
• Experience: 5+ years as a Data Scientist focusing on supply chain optimization and inventory management.
• Education: Master's or PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in mathematical programming solvers like Gurobi, Xpress MP, CPLEX, or Google OR Tools, and strong coding skills in Python, Pyspark, and SQL.
• Analytical Expertise: Solid understanding of statistical methods, optimization techniques, and predictive modeling.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to explain complex concepts and solutions to business stakeholders clearly and effectively.
• Collaboration: Proven track record of working well with cross-functional teams and delivering impactful results.
