Our client is looking for a Medical Doctor to see patients, perform orthopedic-focused exams, and administer joint injections in an outpatient setting for their clinic in Buffalo, NY.
Position Details
• Licensed to practice medicine in New York.
• 5 years of experience with injections and orthopedic examinations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various constituencies in a diverse community.
• Ability to interact with staff in a team environment.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
• Knowledge of current principles, methods, and procedures for delivering medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in an area of expertise.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
• Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and bone marrow (will provide training) procedures for a specified patient population.
• Directs, coordinates, and oversees patient care within a defined clinical practice location; provides supervision, mentoring, training, and development to clinical staff.
• Follows established policies, procedures, and objectives, as well as continuous quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
• Performs misc—job-related duties as assigned.
Details And Compensation
• Initial Schedule 1 - 2 days per week (WED/THURS/FRI).
• Clinic Hours 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (1 hr. lunch). Hours may vary.
• Compensation is $1,500 per day.
• Must be able to attend a 2-day training class.
