This is role is a 12-month contract, with the potential to convert to full-time.
This role is hybrid in the Quad Cities area. We are not considering remote candidates.
Skills Needed:
• 3+ years of experience in Database Administration or Development
• MS SQL Server
• Transact-SQL (T-SQL)
• Experience monitoring and maintaining database systems
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain on-prem servers to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Perform regular checks and implement updates as needed on the SQL server.
• Utilize PowerShell scripting for system maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Oversee Azure cloud database, ensuring its smooth operation and resolving any issues as they arise.
• Carry out backup and recovery protocols on the SQL server to prevent data loss.
• Utilize skills in Microsoft SQL, MS SQL Server 2005, and MS SQL Server 2008 for optimal database management.
