New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer

SkyWater is searching for a highly skilled New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer who is well-versed in CMOS technologies (130nm and 90nm) and FDSOI 90nm. This role will play a pivotal role in the introduction of new semiconductor products into our production line. This position involves direct collaboration with cross-functional teams to streamline and enhance the NPI process.
Responsibilities:

Interface directly with technical teams to manage and oversee the new product checklist, ensuring timely completion.
Serve as the primary liaison between the customer, Business Unit (BU) owner, and internal teams for individual customer projects.
Maintain precise records of checklist statuses and manage the scheduling of the project pipeline effectively.
Facilitate communication and coordination between technical development, BU owners, manufacturing, and billing departments to ensure smooth product releases.
Oversee the new product setup process for your projects, collaborating closely with technical development and planning departments.
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the NPI process within the factory setting.
Regularly report on the status of projects, tracking schedules both internally and with customers.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or a related field.
At least 4-8 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing or NPI roles, with specific knowledge of CMOS 130nm, CMOS 90nm, and FDSOI 90nm technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to address complex challenges in the NPI process.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for tracking and reporting purposes.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven track record of successful project management in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

US Citizenship Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.
