Job Type Full-time Description
Purpose :
This position will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of video direction and operational support for campus wide events, broadcast / streaming, live event programming, video production for weekday and weekend services, and streaming media.
This position handles all aspects of video systems and equipment operation, creative direction, scheduling and training including the education of staff and volunteers.
This position is also responsible for the care and discipleship of a large volunteer team.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to) :
• Coordinate integration of graphics and videos with the Strategy & Marketing Team to ensure that assets are ready for services and special events.
• Assist the leadership team in securing equipment bids / upgrades as projects develop.
• Establish an ongoing plan of recruitment, training, discipleship and care of volunteer teams.
• Schedule video volunteer, staff and contractor teams for various campus events.
• Consult with other Ministries and assist in the training of their staff and volunteers.
• Oversee the maintenance, operation, and repairs of video equipment.
• Serves in related areas as needed.

Skills / Qualifications :
• Training and / or education in media production, or related field, preferred.
• 5+ years of video and / or production training is preferred.
• Equivalent experience in a church production environment is preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of large-scale productions, and the implementation process of rigging and programming for live and recorded events.
• Relevant experience to assist other areas of the Live Productions department preferred.
• Calm under pressure, can excel in fast-paced project timeframes, re-adjustment of priorities, and just-in-time assignments to meet deadlines.
• Extensive working knowledge of television production, HD signal processing, signal theory and network infrastructure.
• A solid working knowledge of the maintenance and operations of broadcast equipment.
• Must have working knowledge of projection systems, LED walls and processors.
• Experience working with broadcast video servers and working knowledge of Ross video switchers.
• MAC and Microsoft Office software environments.
• Flexible schedule (Weekend and evening availability).
• Reliable transportation is required.
• May be called upon for lifting, pulling, climbing, bending, carrying, and pushing as needed to set up activities and events.
Ability to lift 50 pounds preferred.
