SUMMARY: The Senior Manager of Studio Development is a seasoned Leader who can utilize their experience to ensure that their team members are working at maximum efficiency wherever possible. While still responsible for creating game code, testing procedures and hitting milestones to a certain degree, the Senior Manager of Studio Development is mostly responsible for making sure that all of their team members have the tools and help they need to produce entertaining gaming experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Understand company Mission, Vision, and Values and be an ambassador of MVV
• Supervision of Quality Assurance Studio Manager and Game Development Manager
• Oversee Game Developer and Quality Assurance teams
• Lead and assist Game Developers regarding design decisions and development milestones (on time and with quality), through project organization, time management and roadblocks
• Lead Quality Assurance teams through project timelines, testing and roadblocks
• When needed, create tools to assist the Game Developers and QA Analysts
• Collaborate on template games for all markets, including back-patching bugs, R&D updates, and Quality of Life fixes to improve our development times
• Team Management, including (but not limited to):
• Timecards and PTO
• Yearly reviews and compensation considerations (with Studio GM)
• Where needed, discipline and guidance (with Studio GM)
• Weekly team meetings, collaborative meetings, and one on one meetings
• Assist Studio General Manager with team strategy, including:
• Interviewing potential hires
• Identifying areas of improvement and training
• Work closely with other departments to ensure effective processes
• Where needed, assist with game conversions, bug fixes, library code fixes, game testing, and tools
REQUIREMENTS:
• 2+ years of Unity and C# Game Development experience
• Experience using Git version control and Azure DevOps
• Experience of prioritization and time-management skills
• Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated drive of the company’s Mission, Vision, and Values
Preferred Requirements:
• 3+ years of Game Development experience
• 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience
• Experience with team leadership
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The usual work environment is typical of an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with no material or weather-related hazards except those associated with travel.
