Senior Manager, SEO
Walmart Business is a new offering focused on small and medium businesses, non-profits and governments. Our mission is to save organizational customers time, money and hassle. Businesses can leverage Walmart's sourcing advantages, broad assortment, extensive supply chain, store footprint, eCommerce buying platform and cost saving tools to achieve procurement reliability and efficiency. Launched in September 2022, Walmart Business is on a rapid growth trajectory.
The Senior Manager, SEO, drives the SEO strategy and executions for Walmart Business, working together with Walmart.com SEO team. The ideal candidate will have experience in defining SEO priorities, have demonstrated experience navigating ambiguity, and have strong execution skills. This role will help develop and execute end-to-end SEO strategy to drive traffic, revenue and profitable customer acquisition for Walmart Business. Experience operationalizing processes, product roadmap, and finding actionable insights from performance data is critical.
What you'll do...
• Develop and execute SEO strategy and tactics to drive SEO traffic, revenue, and acquisition for Walmart Business.
• Lead SEO data tracking and reporting processes to identify performance trend and key opportunity to the SEO program.
• Implement research, monitor and analyze SEO performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Oversees the development and execution of SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and increase qualified traffic.
• Conducts competitive analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and differentiate the website from competitors.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams, including Walmart.com SEO team, marketing, site-merchandizing, products and Engineering, to ensure consistency deliverables and alignments.
• Monitors and tracks performance metrics using analytical tools, providing regular reporting and recommendations for optimization.
You will make an impact by:
• Execute any weekly, monthly and ad-hoc SEO reports and dashboard to track business KPIs and other SEO specific metrics, such as organic search ranking, crawling and indexing status, page engagement, and competitor analysis.
• Identify search insights and behaviors for different personas of our targeted customers.
• Develop and implement keyword research to identify audience based target keywords.
• Implement SEO research, analysis and recommendation processes at different stages of any content development projects.
• Leading projects to optimize site/page structure, crawling, indexing and key page elements and tags
• Lead link building opportunities with relevant and authoritative domains.
• Develop and execute tracking and reporting strategy on business KPIs and SEO performance metrics
• Research and test new ideas, trends, and technologies within SEO, Content Marketing, Social and other Digital Marketing channels.
• Develop and deliver SEO training sessions to educate organization on the capabilities, uses and benefits of SEO decisions.
Location: This role can be based in Sunnyvale or San Bruno, California, or Bentonville, Arkansas.
• 2-4 years of SEO or similar experience, or
• 2-4 years of Product Marketing experience in an e-Commerce environment.
• B.S. in Marketing, Business, Digital Media or related field (preference for those with an analytic education).
