Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning and Trading Analyst to support our team in financial planning, trading, and operations support. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in the financial services industry and be proficient in Envestnet Tamarac, eMoney, and Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities
· Financial Planning Support: Assist in the preparation of client financial plans, conduct scenario analysis, and manage client data within eMoney to support the planning process.
· Trading Support: Aid in trade execution, trade reconciliation, and portfolio rebalancing, ensuring alignment with client goals and firm strategies.
· Operations Support: Provide operational support by handling daily tasks such as account maintenance, compliance assistance, and generating reports.
· Data Analysis and Reporting: Leverage Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data, generating insights and actionable reports for internal use and client presentations.
· Client Support: Respond to client inquiries related to their financial plans, portfolios, and trading activities, offering high-level service and attention to detail.
· Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to firm policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate and organized documentation.
Qualifications
· Experience: 2-5 years in a financial services, investment management, or financial planning role.
· Trading Experience: Trading experience utilizing Tamarac or a similar third party trading platform and experience trading on Fidelity and/or Schwab is required.
· Software Proficiency: Experience working with eMoney, Envestnet Tamarac, and Microsoft Excel is required.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
· Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with great attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
· Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients.
