A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a skilled Commercial Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of hands-on experience with commercial real estate and mezzanine loans, and experience as a key member of deal teams managing transactions from due diligence through closing. Large law firm experience is strongly preferred.
Duties:
• Provide expert legal counsel on commercial real estate finance transactions, including commercial real estate loans and mezzanine loans.
• Manage key aspects of transactions from due diligence through to closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
• Draft and negotiate loan agreements, term sheets, and other transactional documents.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence and review legal and financial documents to assess risks and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate transactions and address legal issues.
• Provide strategic advice on structuring and negotiating complex real estate finance deals.
• Assist in preparing and presenting materials for internal meetings and client briefings.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting commercial real estate finance.
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in commercial real estate finance.
• Proven experience as a key member of deal teams managing transactions from due diligence through closing.

Education:
