The Physician’s Assistant (PA) acts as the medical provider for the clinic, performing physical exam on patients to assure proper medicine care. They must be knowledgeable in occupational care and or urgent care facilities and have the ability to exercise compassion and trust with the patients. They must be very knowledgeable in regard to diseases, epidemiology, and other medical conditions so they can interpret symptoms and diagnose conditions.
We are looking for a Part Time PA, 3 days a week, 4 days a week or Full-Time at your convenience.
Physician’s Assistant Responsibilities:
• Knowledge of occupational medicine to assure patient care is properly referred
• Collect subjective data (obtain history).
• Collect objective data (perform a physical exam).
• Determine eligibility of patients on Occupational Injury
• Develop an assessment (diagnosis). Develop and implement a management plan.
• Facilitate the referral of patients to the appropriate health facilities, agencies, and physical therapy within our clinics.
• Order pharmacologic interventions.
• Develop and implement an educational plan.
• Plan for appropriate follow-up care.
• Manages the care of patients with complicated medical or surgical conditions.
• Consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (practice’s Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, accreditation, and licenser requirements (if applicable), and the company policies and procedures.
• Full-time preferred, part-time accepted.
• Proof of vaccine required
• Typical work schedule during practice open hours Monday to Friday

Physician's Assistant Required Qualifications:
• Possess a Master’s degree and graduate from a registered PA program.
• Have a proven experience as a physician or physician assistant for at least one year.
• Have a strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
• Have excellent knowledge of infectious diseases, their symptoms, and epidemiology.
• Have a broad knowledge of common medications, side effects, and contraindications.
• Have an In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medical best practices.
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Have respect for patient confidentiality.
• Must have a compassionate and approachable approach.
• Flexibility to manage multi-patient services at one time.
• Social Perceptiveness, Aware of patients’ needs.
• Management of Personnel Resources: Self Motivating, ability to work with clinical staff.
• Time Management: Must be able to manage one's own time, to assuring medical charts are completed timely.
• Medical licenses must not have prior suspensions on record.
Physician's Assistant License/Education:
• Current DEA License is Required to write prescriptions (United States Drug Enforcement Administration)
• Current and active California License Required / Medical License current and active. No prior suspensions on record.
• DOT Certification (Department of Transportation)
• 1 year of medical experience minimum as a Physician or Physician Assistant
Physician’s assistant Preferred qualifications
• Spanish speaking preferred
