We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join a rapidly expanding financial services CPA/ Business Management team in the heart of Santa Monica, CA this is an in-office position that contributes to ongoing success.
What You'll Do:
As a Tax Preparer, you will play a crucial role in our team, ensuring that our clients receive precise and compliant tax-related services. Your responsibilities will include:
• Tax Preparation and Filing: Prepare and file accurate tax returns for clients, adhering to the latest tax laws and regulations.
• Client Financial Services: Provide comprehensive tax services to clients, ensuring all financial reporting is precise and delivered promptly.
• Complex Financial Reporting: Develop and review client financial statements and tax documents, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Client Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries from clients and internal teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
What We're Looking For:
• CPA certification is a plus but not required.
• 2+ years of professional experience in tax preparation.
• Strong expertise in tax preparation, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Proficiency with tax software such as, QuickBooks, or similar, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of explaining complex tax information clearly and persuasively.
• A proactive approach and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting

Pay: $75,000.00-95,000.00 per year
