Finance Operations Manager
We are currently seeking a Finance Operations Manager for a successful construction company in Wetherby. This role is ideal for a motivated and ambitious CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant looking to further develop their management accounting skills and lead a team of finance professionals.
• Lead and mentor a team of up to 3 direct reports
• Support the Financial Controller on various finance tasks and projects
• Prepare and produce monthly management accounts
• Identify process gaps and escalate risks and issues
• Provide financial insights to Directors and Regional Directors
• Create, enhance, and maintain excel reporting
• Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Conduct ad hoc sales, margin, and cost analysis tasks
• Drive continuous process improvement
• Assist with bi-annual branch stocktakes
Requirements:
• Fully qualified with a minimum of 4 years of experience (CIMA / ACCA)
• At least 2 years of experience in producing monthly management accounts
• Proficient in budgeting and forecasting
• Minimum of 1 year of management experience
• Strong IT skills with advanced Excel proficiency
• Prior experience in developing commercial reporting
• Knowledge of rebates is desirable
• Focus on team development and self-improvement
