Responsibilities
• Establish enterprise standards
• Design data models using data modeling tools to support business processes
• Manage the enterprise data model repository
• Provide data model documentation and artifacts generated from data – ERD, data dictionary, data definitions, etc.
• Compliant with Bank’s data modeling standards
• Apply industry standards and best practices where applicable
• Perform end-to-end data management from data analysis, conceptual/logical/physical modeling to database deployment
• Create structures that implement and enforce unified set of models
• Prepare presentations for business users and management
• Support enterprise data catalog setup and enrichment
Qualifications
• 8+ years of hands-on data modeling experience with ER Studio.
• 8+ years of hands-on strong Data modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, 3nF, Dimensional) at both enterprise and data product level.
• 8+ years of experience in establishing enterprise data standards.
• 8+ years of experience in designing enterprise data model framework.
• Work with business architects, Solution architects, and data stewards to capture business requirements in a Conceptual and Logical Data Model.
• General working knowledge of traditional DBMS platforms like Oracle and Cloud DBMS like Aurora, Dynamo DB, Redshift and Databricks.
• Analyze and translate business requirements into conceptual and fully detailed logical data models.
• Create logical data models based on existing applications and databases.
• Contribute to ongoing updates to data modeling standards and guidelines.
• Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
• Evaluate physical data models to ensure they align with the corresponding logical data models.
• Understanding of principles and standard methodologies around Data Architecture.
• Ability to write SQL to query data (ideally ANSI SQL).
• Experience with data integration architecture, strategy, and processes
• Working experience in collaboration with product stakeholders and development/test/infrastructure support teams
• Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
• Strong initiative, ability to self-manage, and work well in a team environment
