Role Description
To accelerate our market presence in the U.S., we are looking for an experienced Sales & Business Development Head to lead our sales strategy and execution in this key source market, focusing on building and nurturing relationships with local tour operators, travel agencies and advisors in the U.S. This is a full-time remote role in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with U.S. clients, focusing on foreign tour operators, travel agencies and individual travel advisors
• Drive lead generation and follow up with sales calls, meetings, and presentations
• Attend international travel trade shows and events to represent WizTrek and establish new partnerships
• Design and develop unique, value-driven travel packages for international clients
• Collaborate with internal teams (in India) to create customized itineraries that cater to client needs
• Achieve sales targets through market analysis, strategy development, and relationship management
Required Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in DMC / hotel travel representation service, or proven record of selling to U.S. tour operators, travel agencies and individual advisors
• Ability to consistently generate leads and convert them into successful clients
• Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal) with excellent communication skills
• A general understanding of India (or Asia) as a tourism destination and its various travel offerings
• Familiarity with sales operations, including itinerary planning, costing, and documentation
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
