The Senior Counsel, Global Operations, will serve as the primary legal partner to the Group Chief Operating Officer (Group COO) and their team by overseeing legal matters related to Telix’ manufacturing and supply chain organization (“Operations”) including product sourcing, development, manufacturing, quality, distribution, third-party radiopharmacy partnerships, health, safety, facilities, enterprise risk, environmental, and sustainability.

This is a high-impact, high-profile global role with opportunities for professional growth as Telix continues to expand the size of its operational footprint around the world (currently 10 sites with nearly 200 employees).

Core responsibilities include drafting, reviewing and negotiating key agreements for the development, manufacturing, and distribution of our products, provide general legal and compliance advising to the Group COO and their team, and work with colleagues in the global Legal and Compliance Team to develop and implement Telix’s legal strategy and objectives.

The role will report to the Group Deputy General Counsel with a dotted line to the Group COO. This can be a remote role anywhere in the United States or based out of our Indianapolis-area office.

Key Accountabilities
• Strategic Legal Thinker
• Serve as the lead counsel to the Group Chief Operating Officer and senior management on current matters and emerging risks.
• Develop and implement a strategic vision for the legal aspects of the Operations organization.
• Work closely with Operations team to identify needs, update templates, implement programs, and timely respond to requests.
• Foster a culture of integrity and ethical behavior across the organization; lead, with colleagues in Compliance, People & Culture, Finance, Quality, and other functions key initiatives that drive a culture of intelligent risk management
• Key Adviser and Business Partner
• Primary legal advisor to the Operations team focusing on legal matters related-to pharmaceutical and radioactive isotope manufacturing and distribution.
• Draft, revise, and negotiate a variety of legal agreements including for materials supply, in-house manufacturing, quality, distribution, contract manufacturing, sales, and real estate.
• Stay abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly those that affect pharmaceutical products; practice-of-pharmacy; radioactive materials; trade compliance; and manufacturing
• Provide employment law counseling, litigation support, and lead investigations within the Operations team.
• Advise on risk, regulatory, and compliance matters related to the company's operations; interact with regulatory bodies and represent the company in legal matters related to supply chain.

• Work across Telix’s Legal and Compliance team to lead the development, review, and updating of applicable policies and procedures.
• Ensure policies and procedures are effectively communicated and enforced across the organization; develop and deliver legal education to support and advance business objectives.
• Analyze legal data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement

Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required
• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent and admission to practice law in at least one US state required
• 9+ years of legal or compliance experience, with 5+ years in-house at a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device company.
• Deep experience with both sales-side and supplier-side contracting, ideally with 3 or more years’ experience leading legal contracting for complex pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution agreements.
• Extensive knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards related to health and life sciences companies, including both the US and Europe.
• Working knowledge of the laws, regulations, and industry standards that affect pharmaceutical manufacturing/or radioactive materials manufacturing, including environmental, quality, and workplace safety rules.
• Proven record in managing complex legal matters and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
• Willingness to travel 10-20% annually, including occasional international travel.
