Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in the restaurant industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing food items while following proper food safety and handling procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare menu for service
- Ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner
- Monitor food levels and communicate any inventory needs to the Chef
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area at all times
- Assist with receiving deliveries and stocking inventory as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to assist in various tasks within the kitchen
- Experience with meal preparation and handling food safely
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
