AP Math Teacher - Curriculum Writer

UWorld is looking for an AP Math Curriculum Writer to join our growing organization. This experienced candidate will collaborate with a team of educators to write content for our web-based Advanced Placement products in areas that could include one or more of the following subjects: AP Calculus, AP Precalculus, and AP Statistics. Minimum Education Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field required
• Master’s degree preferred

Minimum Experience Required:
• Experience teaching AP Statistics, AP Calculus (AB or BC), or AP Precalculus in a high school setting is required
• Experience writing curriculum preferred
• AP Reader, AP Table Leader, and AP Consultant experience highly preferred

Job Responsibilities:

This position will report to the Mathematics Curriculum Manager. The Content Author will create materials for UWorld mathematics question banks and learning platforms and will participate in product development.
• Develop activities and lecture materials for use in an AP classroom
• Write a wide variety of multiple-choice and free-response questions with comprehensive explanations
• Develop simple and elegant images that visualize the written explanations
• Play a key role in development, planning, and execution of new projects
• Provide revisions and constructive feedback on content written by other authors
• Collaborate with management and work closely with other content experts to create questions and products as a team
• Assist other content team members during peak periods of new content production to ensure that all deadlines are met
• Manage time effectively while multi-tasking
