Overview
We are seeking a passionate Pet Stylist to join our team. We are a locally owned, and family operated company looking to add employees to our work family. We have availability for both a salon based stylist and a mobile stylist. Both positions are established clientele/routes. Guaranteed paycheck from day one. All tips paid. Weekly Direct Deposit.

Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort during grooming sessions
- Assess pet's coat condition and skin health
- Trim nails, clean ears, and provide other grooming services as needed
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
Skills
- Experience in dog handling and animal care
- Ability to assess needs and styles, communicate with client/pet owner, and complete a full service breed standard/ requested haircut
- Knowledge of veterinary assistant or veterinary technician practices is a plus
- Ability to handle different breeds and personality types and needs.
- Proficiency in animal restraint and handling techniques
- Capability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Familiarity with pet care standards and grooming procedures
- Basic understanding of dog training techniques
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
