This role will manage business inputs into ELT and Medicare and CareAllies SLT presentations, Strategy Playbooks, and other enterprise strategy processes.
This role will assist in the management process for the Clinical Quality, Strategy and Solutions leadership team, including facilitating leadership meetings and special projects as needed.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-starter, action oriented, intellectually curious, a strategic thinker and bring the ability to transform various developments and actions into a synthesized set of business updates and strategies for a senior executive-level audience.
Ideally, this high-potential candidate uses this role as a steppingstone to roles with broader responsibility and more expansive business ownership.
Core Responsibilities : Governance
Own leadership meeting management for Clinical Strategy including agenda setting, meeting facilitation, and action item resolution.
Support leadership meetings in partnership with the clinical senior leadership team.
• Manage annual governance activities, such as goal setting, calendar management, Leadership Summits and offsites, Affordability projects, etc.
• Support the execution of the Medicare business governance model, including operating model, leadership ownership / accountability, management processes, and decision-making frameworks under the direction of the Medicare CMO.
• Support continuous assessment and execution of the team governance model, including identifying gaps, recommending actions & improvements, and implementing changes, to improve the organization's overall performance and effectiveness, in partnership with the Medicare CMO.
• Function as a connection point between business leadership within the Clinical organization and across the other lines of businesses, stakeholders, and matrix partners (ex.
Data and Analytics, Compliance, Internal Audit, Marketing, Finance, etc.), providing proactive identification of opportunities and issues that could impact the successful execution of commitments.
Partner with Communications and matrix partners to support the development and execution of the communications plan, including town halls, emails, etc.
to ensure all levels of the organization are familiar with the business strategy, as well as understand our progress / results and how each individual is connected to achieving the business' goals.
Ensure alignment of meetings, town halls, communications, and other key initiatives in partnership with key matrix partners, such as the communications teams.
Collaborate with the administrative assistant to support coordination of activities.
• Lead all portfolio funding related activities for the Clinical Quality, Strategy and Solutions organization, including collection and vetting of proposals, drafting of business cases, management of submission process and presentation of business cases to portfolio leadership teams. Key Initiatives
• Develop deep understanding of businesses to inform strategy, actions needed from the team and highlight / enable enterprise engagement efforts for leadership.
• Chair and facilitate work groups / committees for both team-wide and Medicare initiatives, prioritizing cross-business synergies and issue mitigation.
• Oversee the development and monitoring of the team's priorities to ensure the team is focused on the highest value efforts.
• Support the development of executive audience materials for Government Business President, Medicare Chief Medical Officer and, as needed, other leadership meetings members, leveraging SMEs and Business Communications partners.
• Partner with leaders to educate, mitigate, and request support for key initiatives and critical projects. Monitor progress of those projects against goals and objectives.
• Play a critical role in synthesizing competitor and market info to identify focus areas for leadership and the businesses.
• Lead employee engagement focus, including recognition opportunities and communication planning.
• Manage business inputs into monthly SLT presentations, annual Strategy Playbooks, and other deliverables as needed.
• Support continuous assessment and execution of the business' governance model, including identifying gaps, recommending actions & improvements, and implementing changes, to improve overall performance and effectiveness.
• Work closely with Government Affairs and Competitive Intelligence teams to create a comprehensive view of the clinical space that informs our strategy and decisions.
• Ensure that needed business results and analysis are being delivered and effectively disseminated by accountable teams (Business Management, Business Development, Operations, etc.).
• Lead other projects, initiatives, and events, as needed, under the direction of the Medicare Chief Medical Officer. Requirements
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience or equivalent, using tools and frameworks to execute project
