This is initially an equity-only remote role, requiring circa 6-8 hours per week. We are just getting our pilot off the ground, so now is the ideal time to join our startup journey.

We are looking for a seasoned marketing and social media content specialist that can bring fresh ideas to our marketing campaigns.

What You’ll Do
• Help accelerate the establishment of Initiate objectives of enabling UK communities to self-mobilise through collaboration between community entities, (primarily the public, non-profit organisations, and local businesses).
• Develop and execute social media content strategy across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok etc. to support marketing objectives
• Create original text, image and video content for social media channels
• Monitor engagement and analyse performance of social media content using analytics tools; provide reports and optimization recommendations
• Represent brand voice and personality across social platforms; increase follower counts and engagement
• Respond to comments, queries, and feedback in a timely manner to foster community engagement
• Create, coordinate and manage email marketing campaigns, including setting up email automation flows for onboarding, retention etc.
• Analyse email campaign performance metrics and make recommendations for optimization

Requirements

● Experience of developing B2C markets

● Proven experience as a Social Media content strategist, preferably in a challenging environment.

● Demonstrated ability to create compelling content tailored to different platforms and target audiences.

● Strong community management skills, with a focus on building engagement, advocacy, and follower growth.

● Experience in influencer and content creator management, including negotiation and collaboration.

● Proficiency in social media monitoring and reporting tools to track and analyse performance metrics.

● Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

● Creative mindset, with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of social media trends.

● Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
