Role Summary:
In this role you will use your online skills to help us monitor and update our social media presence. You will be acting as our ‘Social Media Gatekeeper’ whilst the communications team are unavailable. There will also be opportunities to further develop this role during your time with us.
Key tasks include:
• Monitor our social media accounts at specific periods.
• Engage with our audience by either responding to comments with the Hospice ‘tone of voice’ and with pre-agreed phrases or by liking third party posts.
• Respond to any comments that might need further investigation with an acknowledgement or signpost.
• Maintain the Hospice’s professional profile at all times and minimise reputational damage.
Opportunities
This volunteer role has capacity to develop and expand to include other marketing opportunities for example help develop posters; post Facebook live from events; create innovative ideas to help increase our media profile.
