This position is for expat applicants only and will report directly to the Dean of Art and Science
Job description, duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Teach basic and advanced math courses for undergraduate students of diverse majors.
• Develop math program curriculum, jointly with the head of department, and contribute to ongoing program review, assessment, and evaluation.
• Participate in departmental or college meetings, take part in various committees, and assist in recruitment activities.
• Assist in departmental and programmatic planning and preparations.
• Undertake research activities, collaborate with faculty on research projects, and establish research collaborations with external members of the academic community.
• Be familiar with all the rules, regulations and policies that govern teaching, research, and interactions with members of the university community and always observe them.
Qualifications: The candidate must have:
• PhD in mathematics from a reputable or accredited North American university
• A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience post-graduation in a college or university setting
• Familiarity with American system of higher education
