Looking for a Medical Doctor to care for our Veterans with own office/ clinic facility. The medical provider will be responsible to perform veterans' evaluations and medical opinions on the Veterans who are seeking disability from the military. The candidate will provide physical exams for the Veterans without treatment. The ideal candidate will be responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best care. Exams are one-time, non-treatment exams for individual Veterans in your area. Exams are guided by VA questionnaires on our secure, online portal for ease and efficiency. You will be compassionate and cool-tempered. You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The candidate will get pay as 1099 independent contractor.
Responsibilities
• Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans
• Complete a thorough review of digital medical records
• Conduct a physical assessment based on specific disability claims
• Submit information gathered through an online portal for the VA to review as part of a compensation/pension claim with 24 to 48 hours
• All exams will take place at approved facility with candidate own laptop and internet access provided.
• Must be able to perform exams a minimum of 1 to 3 days per week
Qualifications:
• State Board-certified Physician license
• One year Experience or some prior VA work is ideal.
• Design your own schedule
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently
• BLS or CPR certified
• Professional liability or malpractice insurance
• Able to work independently
• Possess own laptop to work
• Possess own malpractice insurance
• Minimum of 1 year post-residency experience (waivable with management approval).
• Lives within 25-60 miles driving distance to the needs, with closer proximity preferred.
Office Requirements:
• ADA compliant
• Photos – Include full address.

• Has Front Entrance (wheelchair accessible; show ramp or elevator. This may not be the front entrance but a side or rear entrance). If office is on any floor other than the ground floor, we must see photo of elevator.

Pay: $400.00 - $900.00 per day
