Department Sales Classification Base Salary + Bonus

Bilingual: English and Spanish required

Summary/Objective: The truck driver position is expected to work as a valued member of the sales department. This job will primarily consist of driving within a designated route. On occasion, the routes will be required throughout the region and out of state. He or she will aid the seller with loading and supplying of the goods. Current essential functions / responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

 Operate company-owned and leased trucks to deliver finished product to customers

 Perform required before-, during- and after-operation “user maintenance” and provide required reports

 Provide outstanding customer service while supplying the stores

 Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules

 Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs

 Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition  Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall operation  Complete daily e- logs

 Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management

 Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately

 Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible

 Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business

 Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public Other Duties and Responsibilities:

NOTE: These include, but are not limited to the following (additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary):

 Plan routes and meet delivery schedules

 Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures

 Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean

 Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)

 Load the truck supporting at all times by the seller with the requested good previously Dispatch, download or receive the merchandise to supply the pre-sale order for the store, adjusting it according to the seller's instructions Required Qualifications (Includes Education, Skills, and Experience):

 Valid driver’s license, required 

 Experience driving a large company van or truck preferred

 Clean driving record with no moving violations

 Must pass background check and drug test

 Skilled and confident driver

 Comfortable maneuvering and parking a large vehicle

 Alert, focused, and detail-oriented

 Physically and mentally fit

 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time

 Experience using hand trucks and electric lifts

 Proficient using GPS and other routing systems

 An innate sense of direction  Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful

 Excellent customer service skills

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions including extreme heat and cold. Your working hours will vary. Also, as it may be required occasionally to work on holidays or weekend. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
