Piper Health and Sciences is actively seeking a Scientist - Analytical Chemist to work in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Responsibilities for Scientist - Analytical Chemist:
• Oversee method development and method validation for HPLC, UPLC, and GC
• Develop and train junior staff on analytical techniques and methods
• Review, revise and rewrite SOPs in the analytical development department
• Identify deviations, conduct investigations, determine root cause analysis and implement CAPAs
• Collect data from studies to interpret findings, write summary reports, and analyze data for accuracy
Technical Requirements for Scientist - Analytical Chemist:
• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar field
• 5 years of experience in a fast-paced medical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated environment
• Minimum 3 years of experience with analytical chemistry techniques and equipment including pipetting, pH meters, UV-Vis, Karl Fischer, FTIR, etc
• Experience with mass spectrometry including LC-MS and GC-MS preferable
• Strong organizational and written communication skills
Compensation & Benefits for Scientist - Analytical Chemist:
• Compensation: $70,000 - 110,000 based on experience
