(TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for an HR Data & Workforce Planning Analyst to join our Human Resources department. This is a 12-month contract/acting opportunity and will report to the Manager of Business Partners & Workforce Planning. What We’ll Bring: Company & Culture A hybrid work environment A work environment built on teamwork, flexibility and respect Professional growth and development programs to help advance your career A focus on respect for people and continuous improvement Summer Hours – condensed work week during the summer Benefits Competitive compensation package Extended health care and dental benefits effective immediately Associate vehicle discount program Paid holiday shutdown and competitive paid time off benefits What You’ll be Doing: Partners with the Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) and business units to understand workforce needs during annual workforce planning/re-forecasting Build, update, maintain, and present HR dashboards and forecasts to support workforce planning initiatives (including demographics, turnover, vacancies, retirements, and talent availability) Draw insights and provide recommendations to stakeholders on TCI’s workforce through data analytics Identifying strategies and interventions to address workforce gaps Identify opportunities to enhance data utilization in HR projects/programs Evaluate HR dashboards and metrics on an ongoing basis as per current industry best practices and improve them as needed based on changing business needs Support the analysis and reporting of annual associate engagement survey (TCI Speaks) to inform HRBPs of key focus areas for TCI, departments and divisions Establish and maintain labour cost budget, capturing all departmental salaries, headcount, and benefits data; conduct quarterly re-forecasting ensuring adherence to established budget; secure consensus and approval with HR management team Lead HR Projects supporting workforce planning as needed What you bring: University degree or College diploma in Business or Human Resources 3+ years of work experience in HR; preferably in workforce planning, analytics or as an HR specialist or generalist Excellent analytical and storytelling skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Team player and a proactive individual contributor Effective organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet timelines High proficiency using MS Excel, Power BI or other reporting and analytics tools Strong attention to detail Proven ability to initiate & improve work processes to increase efficiencies About Us Toyota Canada Inc. is the exclusive Canadian distributor of Toyota and Lexus vehicles.
