Summary
• Maintains and repairs physical structures of buildings and maintains grounds by performing the following duties.
• Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor.
• Assuring equipment is operated and maintained to standards that will provide a safe and effective work environment.
• Responsible for servicing and operation of ATV's, Boats, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Responsible for servicing and cleaning aerial lift.
• Responsible for operation of tire machine and balancer.
• Cuts grass and trims weeds on organization's property.
• Cleans internal areas of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
• Installs aftermarket products.
• Empties trash cans and consolidates trash for weekly pickup/weekly trips to the landfill.
• Paints interior and exterior walls and trim.
• Operates snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks.
• Maintains and repairs buildings.
• Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment such as truck, street sweeper, and riding mower.
• Checks and fills forklift propane tanks at the end of each day and maintains daily inspection log.
• Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
• Clean and repair work bicycles.
• Responsible for crushing cardboard daily.
• Responsible for maintaining company's recycling.
• Responsible for the backup duties of the Custodian as needed when absent.
• Implements improvements.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
