Mid Level Systems Administrator
SimVentions is a 100% employee-owned business and has consistently been voted one of Virginia's Best Places to Work. We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team and provide Systems Administrator support to PMA-231 on base at NAVAIR Patuxent River, MD.
Responsibilities: Provide deployment and configuration support for: VMWare/vSphere Enterprise, Cisco switches, SAN, Win Server, Networking, and Linux
Requirements:
• United States Citizenship
• At least 7 years of experience performing system administration in a Linux environment
• COMPTIA Security + or other DOD INST 8570 compliant qualification required
Preferred Skills & Experience:
• At least 2 years of Network engineering experience
Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required
Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $162,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
