Position: Chinese-Speaking Warehouse Representative
Location: Franklin Park, IL 60131
Job Description:
Darpet Doors & Trim is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Chinese-speaking Warehouse Representative to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and the timely delivery of our products to customers within the Chinese-speaking market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive incoming shipments of door products and verify their accuracy against packing lists and purchase orders.
• Organize and maintain inventory levels by properly storing products in designated warehouse locations.
• Prepare orders for shipment to customers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks using forklifts or other equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with the sales team to fulfill customer orders and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
Qualifications:
• Fluency in Chinese and English is required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
