Overview: Reporting to the Digital Content Manager, the Digital Content Coordinator will work as an effective medium within the digital e-commerce department at SNIPES to ensure products are presented accurately on the SNIPES e-commerce platform. This person will work cross functionally across departments and support the Digital Content Manager to implement copy to support ecommerce product enablement.
Responsibilities:
• Support the Digital Team in preparing products for publication on the web, including copywriting, taxonomy attributes, and ensuring all product information is accurate.
• Work with digital team on category planning and merchandising strategy, preparing and informing upon upsells/cross-sells as well as product and industry trends.
• Partner with the photo studio and digital team to locate and ensure all products have enablement properties prior to lifestyle shoots for social.
• Work closely with Customer Service and Digital Manager(s) on updating and solving product issues
• Own the style enablement process end-to-end.
• Create and coordinate SEO friendly product descriptions for new and existing styles as they come onto the SNIPES site.
• Support the Digital Content Manager with onboarding new entities for drop shipping including, compiling style lists, reviewing product info prior to enablement, and ensuring all product attributes are accurate.
• Work closely with Digital Content Manager to create and report enablement trends, finds, and statistics, along with possible forecasts for weekly e-commerce meetings.
Qualifications
• 1+ years of experience in copywriting experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related experience
• Experience in the footwear/apparel industries a plus
• Experience with ecommerce platforms is a plus (i.e, Salesforce, Shopify, etc.)
• Proficient in the complete Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient in Google G-Suite
• Extremely detail oriented
• WordPress knowledge is a plus
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines and objectives can change quickly
• Must be a self-starter with a strong desire to learn the unique ins-and-outs of a rapidly scaling ecommerce business.
