Description:
We are developing eduasis (eduasis.io), a language learning app featuring an interactive side bot for conversational practice. Currently, the bot's responses are too long and not as helpful as we'd like.
We are looking for an NLP prompt engineer to help with the following tasks:
- Improve Side Chat Responses: Enhance the quality and usefulness of the bot's replies to make interactions more engaging and educational.
- Optimise Bot Context During Readings: Ensure the bot effectively utilises the reading material it can access to provide relevant responses.
- Manage Conversation Context: Determine the optimal amount of context to provide the bot during extended conversations to maintain coherence without overwhelming it.
- Enhance "Explain in Context" Feature: Improve this function to deliver clearer and more helpful explanations within the app.
- Assist with Other NLP Tasks: Provide insights and improvements in other areas where we use NLP.
We use ChatGPT for our bot's functionalities. You'll be provided with the current prompts and workflow to help refine and improve them.
Opportunity for Future Work:
If this project goes well, we have more tasks planned in the coming months, especially related to content generation and translations using GPT.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in NLP and prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with ChatGPT or similar language models.
- Ability to analyze existing prompts and suggest improvements.
- Bonus: Experience with language learning applications.
