Description: Charleston Southern University invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Chemistry to begin August 1, 2023.Charleston Southern seeks candidates who are professing Christians, committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. Qualifications: Candidates must have a PhD in chemistry or be nearing completion of it. Specialization in the area of inorganic or computational chemistry is desirable.
Responsibilities: Teach 24 semester hours (lecture and lab) per academic year; contribute to an active and challenging undergraduate research program in field of expertise; attend and participate in departmental and university functions and serve on committees as required; prior teaching experience is preferred.

Charleston Southern University is an independent comprehensive university affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention.
