LOCATION AND WORK:

This position can be located at our Independence, Ohio, or Emerald Isle, North Carolina locations. The ability to work in our office, with a hybrid schedule is required.

About The Position And Our Team

The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst will assist in all areas of the company’s budgeting, reporting & forecasting processes, and profitability analysis as well as contributing to broader business initiatives. This position will report to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.

Responsibilities
• Assist with the tracking and interpretation of companywide KPIs including sales performance.
• Guide discussions with finance and functional leaders to understand business performance, and financial results and enhance the business’s ability to meet and exceed targets.
• Assist in the creation of the monthly reporting workbook.
• Support the annual budgeting process in conjunction with the Director of FP&A.
• Assist with the monthly forecast of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
• Execute special projects, performing complex analyses, summarizing conclusions, and making recommendations to the senior finance team.
• Job responsibilities and any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and support our organization’s values.

Qualifications And Skills Required
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 3- 5 years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence tools.
• Successful track record of using financial analysis to generate, evaluate, and act on strategic options and opportunities.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Collaborative, team player adept at working with and influencing business partners and building constructive relationships with stakeholders.
• A high degree of intellectual curiosity, hungry to learn & self-motivated.
• Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and moderate based on the audience. Ability to communicate effectively across multiple organizational layers and departments.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.
