Job Title: Part-Time Junior Software Engineer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Software Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis, working three days a week. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will work closely with our engineering team to develop, maintain, and enhance software applications that meet the needs of our business and users.
Key Responsibilities:
• Software Development: Assist in the design, coding, testing, and deployment of software applications in accordance with project requirements and timelines.
• Bug Fixes and Maintenance: Help identify and troubleshoot bugs in existing code and participate in software maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with Team: Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions meet user needs and technical requirements.
• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with coding standards.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise technical documentation for features, code, and system operations.
• Learning and Development: Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and tools in software engineering, and be open to learning new skills.
Qualifications:
• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Some practical experience with software development (internships, personal projects, or academic experience) is preferred but not required.
• Programming Languages: Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or others as applicable to the role.
• Tools: Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and exposure to Agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork and documentation.
