Job Description
• Review customer orders, specifications, and engineering documents to identify requirements.
• Participate in customer and third-party audits, such as ASME and NUPIC.
• Engage in Material Review Board discussions.
• Develop and implement procedures for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
• Review and approve supplier quality processes and certified material test reports according to standards.
• Analyze product reports and returns, recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with team members involved in measuring and testing products.
• Attend meetings focused on product quality with sales, manufacturing, assembly, and shipping teams, providing solutions for non-conformance issues.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to environmental health and safety.
• Complete additional company-related projects as assigned.
• Conduct evaluations and audits of suppliers.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and work instructions, prioritizing safety.

The Successful Applicant
The ideal Quality Assurance Engineer will have the following experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related technical field) preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in technical Quality Assurance.
• Familiarity with codes and standards, such as ASME Section III and B16.34.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, non-destructive examination (NDE), materials, testing, and welding.
• Local to Rowley, MA
